ADL1.5 and the openEHR constraint model have been selected by CIMI as the basis for their initial approach to developing a common format for health information specifications. Ocean is very pleased to be a foundation member of CIMI, alongside many prominent international standards bodies and health IT organisations. An initial public statement about their purpose, principles, approach and involved organisations released today.

Ocean Informatics has been named as a member of the successful consortium, led by Accenture, to develop the infrastructure for the Federal Government's $466.7 million Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record (PCEHR), alongside Oracle, Orion Health, Telstra, Cerner, ThinkPlace and Extensia.

Ocean Informatics was today named as a member of the successful PCEHR Change and Adoption consortium, led by McKinsey and Company. The consortium also includes PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hill & Knowlton, Workstar, Event Planet, Alfred Health, Salmat and the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN).
