Terminology Service
The Ocean Terminology Service supports controlled integration of terminology with clinical content.
It allows dynamic result subsets to be defined using a standard language, which can then be served over the web.
Subsets can be integrated at design time with openEHR/CEN archetypes and templates and served live onto the screen at runtime, enabling safe, efficient and more accurate use of terminology.
OTS is a major innovation in terminology deployment and greatly simplifies the deployment of SNOMED-CTand other terminologies, potentially leading to significant savings and reduced time to production use. Custom-built, shareable queries improve the consistency and relevance of terminology result sets for clinicians, no matter what the setting. OTS is designed to deliver terminology in a fast, accurate and usable way to busy clinical end users.
