Archetype Editor

The Ocean Archetype Editor is an open source tool to support the authoring of archetypes as part of the openEHR initiative and the CEN EHR standardisations. You will need to get some sample archetypes to work with the tool from the openEHR website.

The Editor is Unicode-enabled, so it can work with archetypes in any language. The Editor itself has been translated into seven languages; Danish, English, Farsi, German, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

ADL Workbench

The Ocean ADL Workbench is a cross-platform GUI application that allows comprehensive review of archetypes, as part of the openEHR initiative and the CEN EHR standardisations. You will need to get some sample archetypes to work with the tool from the openEHR website.

The Workbench is Unicode-enabled, so it can work with archetypes in any language.

Template Designer

The Template Designer allows users to compose a set of archetypes into a collection called a template. This can be used for data entry, as the basis for a form or for creating a data schema for bringing data into the openEHR environment. The user can use those archetypes and features of archetypes that are required as well as setting default values, limiting choices, naming fields, removing unwanted fields etc as required for a particular use environment.

Terminology Subsetter

The Terminology Subset Editor allows a query designer to specify queries on a terminology. Each query defines a subset of the concepts in the terminology and controls their presentation for user selection.
